🚨 Launch Alert: Implementation Plans for GitHub/Linear Issues

We're announcing one of our most-requested capabilities: implementation plans for GitHub and Linear issues, which add helpful context and let you jump straight into coding.

How to use it

Tag @ellipsis or @ellipsis-dev in a comment on any issue to get a plan. Or turn on auto-plan in the app, and Ellipsis will generate a plan automatically whenever an issue is created.

How it works

Plans are grounded in full codebase context and your team's historical pull requests, so they point at the relevant code and follow the patterns your team has already established.

When Ellipsis hits ambiguity, it documents what it found and asks clarifying questions. You can request a revised plan with natural language instructions, the same way you'd reply to a teammate.

It also works with issues logged from Slack — which is extremely convenient when a bug report lands in a channel and you want a plan attached before anyone picks it up.
